  3. Brief description of your bed's features, i.e., number of facial lamps. taping pattern, etc.

How To Measure.

 How To Measure:

IMPORTANT: Since the measurement you give identifies accurately your replacement shield, it is very important to give us as TRUE a measurement as possible. The only way to measure is by using a metal tape measure (cloth or vinyl measurement tools can stretch causing inaccurate measurements!).


First, remove the acrylic from your bed.

Measure the full length of the shield including special features such as holes, tape, facial units, etc.,

Measure the full length and width against the BACKSIDE of the acrylic to the sixteenth of an inch. Any other method of measuring may cause you to receive an ill-fitting acrylic.

Did You Know?

Small scratches on your Acrylic which feel somewhat like sandpaper and are called "Crazing" are evidence that the Acrylic has exceeded it's usable life. This blocks some of the tanning light and significantly reduces the tanning power of your bed, even with new lamps.

Slow lamp ignition and lamp flickering often indicates that your starters may need replacing.

Other Signs of Trouble:

  • One or more lamps that do not light.
  • The Acrylic becomes excessively hot to the touch during operation.
  • Slow startup can decrease the efficiency and output of your tanning lamps.
